Swingdicator- Steve Porter 8-8-09

Founders Message-
Thank you for your interest in the Swingdicator. If you are anything like me you probably love to golf and you’re on a constant quest to improve your game. After getting all sorts of advice on how to improve my swing and trying every swing aid on the market, I was left confused and frustrated. I took that information overload and distilled it down to a simple program that really works using my little plastic invention we call the Swingdicator.

I’ve lost a leg to diabetes and there are millions of others who are suffering from this debilitating disease. At Swingdicator we are pledging a good portion of our proceeds to diabetes research. I want to personally thank you for joining us in our two-fold mission to cure your golf swing and at the same time cure diabetes.

Thanks!
Steve Porter

The Swingdicator System
is an incredibly easy to use yet remarkably effective golf swing training aid that can help anyone from beginner to pro improve their golf games. The Swingdicator System consists of the Swingdicator swing aid and an instructional DVD starring PGA Tour Professional, Scott Verplank.

When used together, the Swingdicator System produces undeniable results. In the DVD, PGA Tour Winner, Scott Verplank, and Teaching Professional ,E.J. Pfister, reveal the many uses of the Swingdicator. If you would like to improve any of these elements of your game:

PROPER GRIP
TARGET ALIGNMENT
SWING PLANE (eliminate that slice or hook)
SHORT GAME
BUNKER SHOTS

then you need the Swingdicator System. The primary advantages of the Swingdicator over other swing aids are simplicity and portability. A Swingdicator is about the size of most divot repair tools and comfortably slides between the ring and middle finger of the non-dominant hand. This compact size allows it be taken anywhere to quickly tune up a swing on the driving range or on the course. Many PGA teaching pros that have tested the product consider it to be the easiest and most effective swing aid on the market.

Birdie Ball- John Breaker 8-08-09

8-08-09

BirdieBall® by Birdie Ball Inc. is the best golf training aid invented this century! That's a bold statement, but golf coaches and PGA golf instructors around the world agree, and have voted it the PGA, Product of the Year in Orlando! It is a limited flight practice golf ball without limited feel. True feel with a long hang time, golf ball-like, trajectory! But it only flies 40 yards, so you have your own backyard driving range. Take a full swing. Draw it Fade it. Grab a buddy, get 40 yards apart and hit them back and forth. You wont believe the turbine sound created by the high rate of reverse spin. It's very durable, in fact Pro Series Birdie Balls won’t break like perforated practice balls or wiffleballs.

Picture yourself coming up to the 18th green at Pebble Beach, Doral, or Pinehurst #2. You have the complete confidence that you will stick the green on your next shot within 6 feet of the pin.

Why so confident? You've been practicing 15 minutes per day with the "Best home golf practice gear available...period"

Experiencing the “true feel” and seeing the “true flight” of the amazing BirdieBall will improve your ability to control a real golf ball.

And the Target/Flags make playing through the park as fun as playing a full course.

BirdieBalls, Targets and Flags can be used outdoors or indoors to improve chipping.

Adidas Golf- Tiss Dahan 8-1-09

Tiss Dahan,
Senior Director of Global Apparel

adidas Golf Philosophy
Golfers are athletes.
adidas Golf makes equipment that drives athletes to performa at the highest level
We design our equipment to maximize the body’s golf potential.
We engineer our equipment with the most innovative technology in the sport.
We push our equipment in the very same way athletes push their bodies.
We don’t make shoes, shirts or jackets you wear.
WE MAKE EQUIPMENT for your body

It has been 60 years since Adolf Dassler first put three stripes on a pair of athletic shoes, creating one of the most recognizable athletic brands in the world. The German sportswear company he founded,
adidas (an amalgam of his nickname, "Adi," and the first three letters of his last name), marked the 60th anniversary with a special collection of golf apparel, as worn by Sergio Garcia in the U.S. Open this past June 2009.

adidas’s exuberant branding reflects the sea change in golf fashion, from classicism to athleticism. Until recent years, golf has shied away from graphic displays on clothing, rooted as the sport is in genteel, country club tradition.

adidas has long been torn about using their well-known trademark in an overt way on golf clothing. For many years when the company did put the three-stripe logo on golf shirts, it was only in a tone-on-tone color scheme—blue embroidery on a blue shirt, for instance. It was there but not there.

Currently, the company is expanding its branding of other apparel, emphasizing the guiding philosophy of its founder Dassler, who equipped Jesse Owens with his track spikes for the 1936 Olympics. The idea has always been the development of specific performance clothing for each sport —to help athletes do their best. "We believe golf is a sport," said Tiss Dahan, senior director of global apparel for Adidas Golf. "The products we build always respect golf."

With adidas technology like ClimaCool, ClimaProof and ClimaLite, all designed to maximize comfort while highlighting your style, you can enjoy the feel of a great day at the course even when you're stuck having a casual day at the office. Men, women and juniors can enjoy Comfort, Style, Technology and Athleticism which are all now blended in the adidas brand and look.

Currently featuring the adidas brand on Tour: Sergio Garcia, Kenny Perry, Justin Rose, Dustin Johnson and Jason Day. And, on the LPGA Tour look for Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis.

7-18-09 Tour Edge Exotics- David Drinkwater

TOUR EDGE- EXOTICS GOLF EQUIPMENT

Headquartered in the suburbs of Chicago, Tour Edge was founded in 1985 by David Glod, a former golf pro at Village Links Golf Club in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. David as a young entrepreneur truly believed there was an opportunity in the golfing industry to provide a high quality product at an affordable price. In his mind there was no reason for the trend in inflating prices that were overcoming the market. David's goal was to change the consumer's perception of value and quality in golf clubs. He designed his first club in 1987 and never looked back.

While constantly paying attention to both product design and quality, several new products were developed, including the Fiber-Sonic iron, the industry's first heel weighted club. Since then, many new and innovative products have been designed. Like Callaway and the Big Bertha, Adams and the Tight Lies, the Tour Edge claim to fame is Bazooka titanium woods. Benefiting from the success of the Bazooka titanium woods and irons, Tour Edge Golf is one of the fastest growing golf manufacturer's in the country. Offering exceptional pricing and superior performance, Tour Edge Clubs give golfers just what they need.

Doubling sales every year since inception, Glod's original vision allowed Tour Edge to carve out a niche as a worldwide manufacturer of premium quality products that are sold at a reasonable price. As the reputation of Tour Edge grew regionally, by 1990 there was a need to organize a sales and marketing program to further the company's success. Around this time, David's brother Gordon Glod, now vice president, joined the team. He recognized the need for a club maker that could provide reliable service and custom clubs in a timely manner. Gordon actively pursued many new markets and helped open doors for the new product line.

According to David, "By 1992 demand had increased immensely and Anthony Herb was hired as production manager. Now vice president of operations, Anthony brought six years of experience and a well rounded knowledge of the industry to Tour Edge. His ideas for a more efficient means of production were well received and quickly instituted. Since his arrival, Anthony has set an industry standard for consistency of product quality and timely delivery.

Commanding strong Midwest sales, Gordon realized the need for a national distribution strategy. In 1993, Andy Silis was hired to head up the company's national sales campaign. Andy's ten years of golf sales experience and familiarity with accounts across the country put Tour Edge on the map nationally. His industry knowledge and ability to position Tour Edge products helped drive the company sales and opened the door for national and international distribution.

The final piece of the puzzle was put into place in 1995 when Tour Edge hired Jay Hubbard to spearhead the company's marketing and advertising strategy. Hubbard, a veteran marketer with seven years experience, quickly stepped up to the plate and established public relations and advertising programs to support that national sales effort and help build the brand. By 1996, the Tour Edge team had catapulted the company into Golf Pro Magazine's ranking of the top 40 equipment manufacturers.

Since that time, the national media, word-of-mouth, and strong retail sales have created a new best-selling brand. According to Andy Silis, national sales manager, "At one of the best golf shops in America, Tour Edge irons are on average the #1 selling iron above the best-known brands in the industry. In addition, Tour Edge metal woods are on average the #2 best selling woods. We have come a long way and I am proud to be part of it."

Many new employees have joined the Tour Edge team over the years, each person filling a critical need, but all with the same goals in mind: commitment to quality, devotion to customer service, and dedication to innovation. David Glod has built his company around these goals and has made a pledge to adhere to them. With that in mind, consumers can expect the same high quality product and exceptional service that was first instituted in 1985.

Doug Lemons PGA-U.S. Kids Golf

7-18-09
Born and raised in Canton, Ohio. I have been a Golf Professional for over 12 years working at Private Country Clubs across Northeast Ohio. I have devoted my teaching career towards developing our juniors into life-long players of this game. I work with children as young as five years old. They are our future and as a two-time award winner of The PGA President's Council, my passion and aspiration is to grow the game of golf.
By bringing the U.S Kids Canton Local Tour, your child has a place to shine and grow. This is an opportunity for families to share special moments with their child or grandchild and watch them reach their personal best!

My philosophy is to develop a student to their full potential based on their physical abilities and learning style. I have always been described as a very patient teacher with good communication skills and a sense of humor that encourages a relaxed atmosphere and a creative learning environment. I develop juniors so they can compete and or aid them in achieving such goals as having fun, playing on their High School team, or receiving a Scholarship to College.

We will develop a pre-shot routine together that will help them develop more confidence on the golf course by improving their skills. Together, we can lengthen their drives, improve the accuracy of approach shots, and learn how to save strokes around the greens. Learning the ball flight laws will help recognize swing flaws as they occur and make the necessary corrections. We will create an individualized practice routine that focuses on how to improve swing fundamentals.
Mission Statement

“To introduce juniors to golf so that they may learn to love

the game and experience the educational and social values

that golf can provide them for a lifetime.”

Swing Man Golf - Jaacob Bowden

7-11-09

In 2003, Jaacob Bowden was living in Kansas City working as a computer engineer in the corporate world. Uninspired in his daily work and realizing that playing golf gave him tremendous satisfaction, Jaacob traded in his corporate career to pursue the dream of becoming a Professional Golfer. This journey has since taken Jaacob from being an average golfer who typically drove the ball 220-275 to scratch golfer and long-drive champion.

While Jaacob's long-term goal is to play on the PGA Tour, he has made considerable strides in a relatively short amount of time. In 2003, after working with distinguished golf instructors Dan Shauger and Mike Austin, Jaacob won the Pinnacle Distance Challenge with a televised drive of 381-yards and he has also since hit a grid-record 421-yard drive at a RE/MAX World Long Drive Local Qualifier in Temecula, California.

His athletic ability coupled with his insatiable appetite to learn every aspect of the game has made him not only a respected player but an incredible teacher as well. As a result, he brings perspective and experience that uniquely relates to both the average and professional golfer. Through his own training Jaacob has explored and tested a variety of techniques and training aids - the most recent of which involves researching swing speed training. His personal efforts to increase his own swing speed - and thus hit bigger drives - has made Jaacob one of the foremost experts on speed training in the world.

Jaacob continues to train and prepare for golf tournaments and long drive events while furthering his knowledge of golf and swing speed.
