Created by Mike Maves (aka Sevam1) and PGA Tour Legend Steve Elkington, the goal of Secret In The Dirt is to give golfers access to the best instructional information. To facilitate this goal our skilled but unusual team incorporate videos, articles blogs and audio to allow golfers to WATCH, READ and LISTEN. What we want to show golfers is how to reach their own personal potential by telling them plainly what information was important to us in our development. Our goal is not to try to tell you what we think "might" work for you. Rather we are going to tell you in plain but specific terms what has worked for us on the premise that what has been of value to us will likely be invaluable to you. In the process we will be not just be dealing with "state of the art" ideas but we will also be dusting off a lot of old information that is still relevant today.
The twist is that in addition to learning from us we want to give golfers tools to help them interact with each other to make their learning more enjoyable and interactive and to create an entertaining platform by which golfers can communicate with each other about all things related to the game that we all love.

One of our founding principles has been that it should not be expensive for those who wish to learn golf to obtain the information that they need to improve. With that in mind our goal was to create a free online resource for golfers and our goal is to keep the core elements of this site free for all.
