The EWGA's (Executive Women's Golf Association) mission is connecting women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business
and for fun


The EWGA is a Florida not-for-profit 501(c)(6) corporation serving an international membership. The EWGA exists to provide opportunities for women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life.
Since 1991, the EWGA has touched the lives of over 85,000 women. This not-for-profit membership association currently has nearly 20,000 members in over 120 chapters throughout the United States, along with international Chapters in Canada and France, offering a wide range of organized golf activities, player development and education programs, volunteer, social and networking opportunities for both novice and experienced golfers.

The EWGA is dedicated to inclusiveness and diversity in its membership and seeks to provide timely, valued benefits and services to EWGA members to promote the growth of women's golf. The EWGA also serves as an advocate for positive change on issues of importance to women golfers.

Originally from Boston, MA, this Florida resident’s background includes over 18 years of experience in the golf industry including advertising, corporate communications, sales promotion, business development, event planning and business development. She joined the headquarters staff of the EWGA in March of 2002 as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In December 2005, she took over as interim Executive Director of this not-for-profit organization and was named CEO in May 2006. Ms. Swensen oversees the administration and operations of 125 Chapters acrossthe US and Canada with over 20,000 members and 3,100 volunteer leaders.
